Wonderful! Staff very knowledgeable and kind. In what was an uncomfortable position to be in, I was put at ease and never felt anything except that I was important to them. As I completed my treatment I was actually a little sad to leave these wonderful people. Thank you for caring.

Nobody wants to ever hear the words, "You have cancer. " But, from the moment I entered Compass Oncology, I feel like I have a second family. Dr. Rushing is a major reason for that. He is one of the smartest, warm, caring, and humble people I know. A combination not normally found in his profession. He, his fantastic staff and my faith in Christ, are why I am still walking on this earth. My husband and I wish him all the very best in the next chapter of his life. Dr. Rushing has been my oncologist since February 2004. He told me I needed to quit smoking or I wouldn't be around for the important things like my daughter graduating, getting married, grandchildren all of the important things. I quit smoking and was there for these things. I went through multiple surgeries, biopsies, check-ups, annual visits. He always listened, asked all the right questions to make you feel important that you mattered. I never thought I would have to see another Dr I always thought he would be there. But... read more
