Great knowledgeable service – Ray is extremely knowledgeable and clearly cares a lot about both the cars and the owners. Will go out of their way to do things at a reasonable price, but the labor is absolutely worth the money. Very considerate when I had to leave the car at the shop for an extended time, great about explaining repairs, avoided unnecessary repairs. 100% recommend them, especially for vehicles that other shops may not be so good with (like my Saab, for example).

great, trustworthy mechanic – A friend recommended R and S to me when i first moved here in 2008. I have been grateful ever since. They have always gone above and beyond to find the right parts at the best price, without getting extra parts (i once needed one small part for a window motor...they called several states so that i didn't have to pay for the entire apparatus). Rrp off – I went here for first time to see when I could get my battery checked out. The man said I'll take a look at it now. He said it was fine on his meter, but poured baking soda and water mixture over it for a little corrosion seen. This took all of 5 minutes. I went back inside and the lady said 'there is probably no charge, but let me go and ask him'. She came back and said that'll be $42.00 !!! I could have bought a new battery for that! Will NEVER go back here again.

Rip off, big time! – Beware. I got ripped off by these people. I knew what was wrong with my car before I brought it in and told them what needed fixing. They said they'd run some other "tests" just to be sure. Well, 2 months and quite a bit of money later, they said they still couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, if anything. Finally i insisted they replace the part I told them to replace in the first place. Great mechanics, great people - highly competant and completely trustworthy – This is a family owned and operated auto shop and they are AWSOME!! We've been taking our cars to them since we moved to New Orleans - I've never found a mechanic that I trusted so completely. They take the time to explain to you exactly what they are doing and why.
