Dr. Koch helped save my ankle! My orthopedic surgeon at HSS brought in Dr. Koch to help with a surgery on my ankle bone that died due to lack of blood flow from an injury. Dr. Koch moved a blood vessel from another part of my foot to the bone that needed blood. My 6 month post-op shows the bone is now getting blood and my pain is so much better. Dr. Koch was also very kind in our interactions before the surgery and spoke to me about this surgery as well as an unrelated issue. I’m very grateful for him.
