Horrible customer service. Called to inquire about replacement muffler for my rider. Said he needed model and serial number of mower, and model, type, and code off the engine. I obtained all this info and called him back 30 minutes later. I asked him for an email address so that I could send him this HUGE string of numbers a letters. He said he was closed and to call back tomorrow. Lost my business before he even received it. Scratch my head.
I had this guy do oil change, tune up and sharpen blade on my mower. I got the mower back and it was smoking very badly. Called Jim and he said ok to use because he must ha e spilled oil on motor when he changed the oil I cut the grass like he said to. Next time I cut grass still smoking. I called Sears and they said the oil was overfilled. Man from Sears said this guy ruined my mower and also it voided my warranty. Jim @ R&M is a complete moron and doesn't know a thing about small engines. Since I brought my mower to him and paid over $300 for a tune up (yeah that's right), I've come to find he put the wrong blades on, the belt is wrong size and keeps falling off, and all this and he kept it for almost a month in the middle of summer. Jim might portrait and old southern boy from Townsend, DE but he's still an idiot when cones to mowers. SAFE YOURSELF MO EYES, TIME AND TROUBLE AND TAKE IT TO AN EXPERT...MAYBE SEARS OR ANYONE ELSE.
