After winning a bid on a chaise lounge, we brought it home and there was a sticker literally melted into the fabric. The seller had disclosed the stains and I accepted that and knew I would be cleaning those out. IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON INSPECTING ITEMS, DONT BID!!!! Descriptions and pictures can be deceiving, they are INTENTIONALLY misleading to get more bids. I've spent near $6k this month at auctions, happy with most of my items. Be especially careful buying anything that isn't new. I've gotten 3 used items that were "like new" but are filthy and dont work as they should, buying dyson replacement parts isnt cheap, at the cost paid i couldve gone new somewhere else for a little more. IT mistakes (maybe on purpose), on some certain articles does not accept your bids at the last minutes (basically does not let you to buy some certain Lots), IT department does not reply when you report an issue, horrible service. Only lets you buy some certain Lots (even in that case they maybe artificially push the prices high), definitely not a fair auction. Auction closing time was indicated 6:02 pm (for 2 weeks it was indicated 6:02 pm), I had the highest bid at 6:02 pm, then they extended the time till 6:04 pm, I again... read more
