The worst of the worst around here (and that's saying a lot considering the horrible landscaping and sprinkler company options in Kootenai County.). Owner, Richard, is a hot-head with anger management issues. Look at all the one-star reviews. He will no-show or walk off a job at the drop of a hat and then still look for ways to charge you. Do yourself a favor... Avoid these guys like the plague.
We have used R&J Landscaping Bi annually for 6 years. 5 stars every time. Jim has been awesome and Ed also has been terrific and helpful. Professional and reasonable price.
Our company, Hometown Property Management, uses R&J for the majority of our turn ons and blowouts each season. They are reliable, easy to work with, and they will always take the time to explain if they found any issues and possible solutions.
I was calling around this summer to get quotes on installation for my backyard sprinklers. I expressed to them how important it was that I get on a schedule promptly. I understood that they were busy. However I had multiple things to get lined up including new gate installation and memorial in Kansas to go to. Being as they did not get back to me promptly. Terrible customer service. Got a bill and was charged a $10 late fee. Nowhere on the invoice does it show that there will be some kind of late fee. The lady on the phone said “We are not a big business that can just not charge late fees”. I don’t mind paying a late fee if it states it somewhere. If you’re going to assess a late fee then show that on the invoice. What if the late fee if $100? How would I know that without seeing that info on the invoice?!
