every time i've went there, it's been horrible (whoever that male doctor is that has black short hair, and a black beard) is really stuckup and hateful along with any of the nurses that give you iv bags to hook you up with, i would NEVER go there again. they don't cuss at you, but it's their demeanor and how they talk to you that is insulting and makes me feel horrible about yourself, even if you go there for a medical issue.

I have been to this ER numerous times. The care is always fantastic. The doctors and staff have always been attentive, friendly, efficient, and thorough. Clean facility.

If Joseph Karpinsky is on duty, drive to Lexington. We've always had a good experience here until recently. My husband had a serious infection in his foot. This doctor came in treating us like he just didn't want to be there. My husband rated his pain as the worst he had ever felt. Nobody could take the time to explain anything they were doing or what was going on. If we asked questions, that was unacceptable or even insulting to the physician. Anytime I’ve had to go to the ER, this is the place we drive from Lexington to go to. The wait is shorter, they are much kinder than other ERs in Lexington, and it’s cleaner.

Have had to go there often over past several years for migraines, seizures , stroke and back pain and have always been treated well!
