Cleaners left a row of dirty rubbish bags along corridor for hours, whole corridor actually smelled like garlic and body odour as it was a hot day and there was no ventilation. Rooms were okay, do the job but not super nice as furniture quite dated, artwork will be some old canvas prints from Kmart is the vibe. Closest hotel to the great carousel in the heart of Geelong. Short walk to Eastern beach, cafes and parks. Stayed in one of their one-bedroom room just last new year’s eve to watch the fireworks. Not a bad walk to the fireworks location. Love the bed as I can tell it’s freshness and cleanliness. I liked the wide sliding door to balcony overlooking the park. Well located, large comfortable appartment with a view of the beach and water. Comfortable and clean, well appointed apartment. Friendly service. If you book direct the parking is complimentary. Recommended.
I had to leave this review, very disappointed, I asked for ocean view and our room had a beautiful building view. King size bed ! Extremely soft we had no sleep whats so ever soft as and curves your whole posture.apart from that it was clean
Our stay at the Oaks R Hotel was great room had an awesome view to the water front from our balcony the room was very clean and spacious highly recommend the oaks R hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay in Geelong for a holiday.
