☆☆☆☆ A Real Review! I recently stayed at Oaks Suites Geelong and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I entered the room, there was a strong musky smell. I raised this with reception, but was told it was likely due to the previous guest staying for an extended period. I booked a 1 Bedroom Ocean View Apartment, but the room's door lock was broken. I will give 0 stars for the room. I will also give 0 stars for the Customer Service I received from a staff member named Didi. My card was declined once last year due to my precautions against fraud transactions. Didi repeatedly mentioned my card decline six times. We were really happy with apartment 05 Well appointed for our 4 night stay. The location was great. The facilities clean. BUT! The mattress on the king bed had collapsed on one side and made it impossible to sleep on. So, $800 later I spent 4 nights sleeping on the couch. Also the TV remote is so frustrating to use. You have to have it pointed exactly to were the receiver is. We ended up watching TV on our laptop to stop the frustration. When we checked out the only response we got was I'll let housekeeping know.
