I was not sure that I wanted the shoulder replacement surgery. I did, but I thought it was going to end my Pickleball career, as bad a player as I am. I can say that I never had any pain from the surgery after the block wore off. I took three pain pills as preventive measure at night so that I would be sure and be able to sleep.
