I was charged $635 by this company for about 20 minutes of work. The distance from the vent on the outside of my house to the dryer was maybe 50 - 60 feet. They cleaned my dryer vent. Yes. They did a good job - probably yes. My vent was clogged because the previous owner never had it cleaned. R & D came out. They found the vent exit quickly and without details said it would cost $635.
