I cannot give this doctor enough credit when it came to taking care of my 5 year old. Two days ago we had his first visit and I left very very happy. He’s everything you want in a doctor: patient, kind, knowledgeable and caring Something I had not felt in Tallahassee since we moved here and I’ve changed pediatricians TWICE before. I’ve felt dismissed before and pressured by other doctors. Not this one. Third time is the charm! My son loved him and me too and we even walked out with book recommendations!
Refused care with no explanation. Highly unprofessional.
I'm so sad to leave this review because Dr. Deem seemed like such a great guy. He was respectful of parental choices, sweet, personable... but I've had so many bad experiences with the staff. First, Dr. Deem told me he wouldn't charge me for a quick weight check for my premie because we were self pay, but the office charged me over $100 anyway and then I was unable to get ahold of (or a returned phone call from) the office manager (who I was told by staff was the only one who could handle it) to fix it.
