Needed my air conditioner vacuumed and gased up. I called at the last min, and we were heading out on vacation, and he worked me in. He did a great job he was fast and very friendly and also came at a great price. I would definitely recommend this place if you need any work done on your car. Thank you
I wanted to give a shout out to R & J Auto repair. We were visiting from out of town and while in Florence our rear brakes started making a terrible noise. We purchased rear brake pads at the local Auto Zone and the cashier recommended that we try R & J to have them installed. The owner was pretty busy with other work but since we were out of town he got to work on them and had us back on the road in under an hour. Very nice man and reasonable fee to have the brake pads installed. I would highly recommend this business.

I brought my car here in good faith to check for possible engine problems. He told me the hose was missing and then charged me $250 plus $10 cc fee. When I asked for a break down on parts vs labor he said he couldn't remember and said I need to call auto zone. No diagnostic nothing so I had to take it elsewhere and they told me the part was marked up 100%. I will NEVER use this shop again & I highly suggest you avoid this shop especially if you want someone to be honest with you and not waste time or money.
Really hated to do this. I came to this shop based on good reviews. The owner is nice, and was willing to immediately look at my car. He did look at it, changed out a few small things( filters, spark plugs) and then kind of gave up on my car. I paid 300 and did not get a diagnosis, and left with very minor repairs, which still didn’t fix it. I also left the car there an additional week, after he offered to look at it more, but then after calling once and finally stopping by I was told they didn’t have a chance to look at it ... read more
