RecommendedTheir apples and fresh veggies I have always enjoyed. We went there a lot when we lived in Ellijay and were visiting after moving away. Always enjoyed their baked good in the past, but today, got several fried pies and was really disappointed. Drove 7 hours from Charlotte, NC specifically to raft and go to R and A with my family. Get to the apple picking and was greeting with the rudest lecture and staff ever! Don’t pick apples off the ground, don’t let the kids eat an apple or we charge you.. we were watched like hawks or thieves the entire time we picked..just the worst customer service ever.. so all that aside the apples were great... so great that when I arrived back in NC I reached out to them to see about shipping some to me... We came to the store in July, the produce then was delicious. We came today to check out the apple orchards. Amazing experience, picking apples, eating a delicious lunch from the kitchen, and taking a few fried pies for the road. Beautiful farm. We'll be back for sure.
it was very good experience...we loved the golden delicious...really delicious....
We stopped in on the spur of the moment while exploring the area. Had the fried apple pie and the strawberry and cream cheese pie. Very good! The wife also wanted a slice of pumpkin roll, which she would have skipped if she’d known the price up front. Glad she didn’t, it was worth it! Nice place with a lot of cool products. We’ll be back.

This was our sixth year coming back to R and A Orchards and we've made it a tradition with my little family. Everyone at R and A are always so friendly and approachable. We've been to several other orchards but this is our go to spot. The tractor tour is always fun and my kiddos have a blast. I haven't tried a product that I didn't like, their apple butter and apple cider is delicious!
Overwhelming selection of apples!
My family has came to R and A since way before my time! The owners are some of the nicest people you would ever meet. Their products are always fresh and delicious! It’s a wonderful family business, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else except R & A! 🍎 🍏
