I completed a 3 year City & Guilds apprenticeship and have over 35 years experience in painting and decorating. I hang wallpaper and do some minor repairs. I am always happy to give advice. I pride myself on giving honest advice, carrying out the works to the best of my ability and paying attention to the detail. Preparation is one of my strengths as this leads to a great finish and a happy customer.

We got Richard to decorate three rooms which included walls. cupboards, doors, woodwork and ceilings. He did a lovely job and even helped with some extra bits that were not part of his scope. On time, tidy, friendly, he even parks helpfully! He did a fantastic job and if he wasn't moving away we would have him back to do the rest of the house. Hereford's loss is Sussex's gain.
Richard painted our garden room (interior and exterior), and some other bits and bobs - fiddly stuff, and it’s all still looking great after a year. All work was very good, and he’s a really nice chap as well. We’d happily ask him to do more work for us in the future.
Richard is an excellent tradesman. He has done a number of painting jobs for my daughter and we have always been delighted. He’s a really nice guy into the bargain and a pleasure to do business with. Thanks Richard
Richard did a really superb job decorating the entire exterior of our half-timbered house. Richard pays great attention to detail in both preparation and finish, is extremely hardworking, punctual, tidy and communicative. In addition to this, he is such a nice person and was a pleasure to have around our home. I would recommend Richard without hesitation to anyone looking for gold-standard decorating services.
Thank you Richard - from the ‘off’ to the finish Richard has been professional & extremely helpful. He carefully covered all of our belongings, furniture & took great care of our house. We only had a relatively small job but it was carried out perfectly & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Richard again. House was spotless after the job completed & Richard even came back to do an extra ‘add on’ which we spotted needed sorting after the initial work so it was all completed at the same time. 🤩
