Super nice owner picked up the phone when I had a problem when he was on vacation and told me what to do first before making a service call and it fixed the problem at no charge so he's a real nice honest fellow

Billy is extremely dishonest and charges at least double than the going rate. He resurfaced my pool and hot tub, in less than one year later it began leaking(in exact same spot he knew about)…he did not stand by his work. I had to pay another company to fix R-1’s very poor job. (I was a recent widow, and he took advantage of my grief) My neighbor had her pool and hot tub (bigger than mine)done at same time with better quality materials, for one third the cost Billie charged me.

We contracted with Billy at R1 to do a complete replacement of our pool and spa filter, pool heater, and control panels at our home. The initial estimate was done fairly and completely. The work was performed in a timely manner, and Billy made sure that all of the pool components were working properly after installation, including the remote control app for our pool system. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and responsive during the entire process. Five stars!
