I have to admit that I've never been there, YET!!, but I just saw QUINTESSENTIALS featured on INNS OF COLOR on the Distro app on my roku tv and i decided to look them up and it brought me here to the reviews and I saw puerile describing exactly what I saw on TV, and the food looked scrumptious, it's 331am now, but, I will be calling tomorrow to check dates.

The owner was very evasive and unwelcoming. We tried to book a stay at this B&B only to have the owner not reply for months on end. Then, she tried to claim that gift certificates could not be used to stay on any Fri-Sun, which is not stated on the certificate or website. So, after some back and forth, she gave us a weekend to stay only to find she said that our gift certificate would expire the day before our stay. I was desperately in need of a break from NYC. I needed surgery, but as I was suffering from a bout of asthma , severe coughing and could not breathe,, my surgery was postponed 3 times. I knew I needed to get away, and get some fresh air, so I booked a room at Quintessentials. I had planned to stay 2 nights. From the moment Sylvia welcomed me on the phone, I could sense her warmth. I've been to this B&B a few times over the last 20 years and look forward to another visit soon. I've always been very satisfied with the service, cleanliness, food and overall the professionalism and charm of the Innkeeper. It was a lovely setting for a group reunion.
