This could be the best hifi store in the entire country. Their love of audio is apparent in every conversation and the team (especially Patrick) will patiently set up anything they have in the store for you to audition. Visiting Quintessence is pure joy and a must for any enthusiast looking for new gear. And the new listening room is one of the best hifi rooms I've ever heard - you simply must experience it!
I’m incredibly grateful to Quintessence Audio. John and his team are true professionals, and this is hands down my favorite Hi-Fi audio store in the Chicagoland area. A few years ago, I picked up a used McIntosh power amp here at a great price. About a year later, I scored an amazing deal on a pair of PBS T800 speakers.
