The staff were professional and compassionate. I was advised of all charges and fees ahead of time so there were no surprises. The doctor was very kind and gentle with my pet. I was very happy with the whole experience and would definitely use their services again.
When our cat Whisky started peeing blood, the staff were very responsive to see him quickly and best of all be as transparent as possible of the potential issues it could be due to how common certain illnesses can be with cats. As difficult and uncertain as it was initially, the technicians and veterinarian did their best to outline all of the potential causes, and tested him quickly to figure out the source. The staff at QRPH were so friendly and attended to our needs quickly when I had to bring my dog in for X-rays to check if he ate a battery. They gave me a rough quote over the phone so I knew what I was walking in to. I had to bring both of my dogs and both of my kids, and they were so accommodating, gave my kids things to colour on, and got our puppy in very quickly. Luckily no battery was found (it remains to be found in our house either!), and we were on our way within 30 minutes of arriving.
I had an excellent experience with Quinte Regional Pet Hospital recently. Sarah, Caitlyn, and the veterinarian on duty met my dog and I with calmness and compassion that helped to turn a stressful situation around. They answered all of my questions over the phone and provided me with great advice. Ultimately, I required assistance in getting my dog to take medication for a wasp sting that was causing her a lot of discomfort and swelling. Almost $2000 for two stitches. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m guessing this vet lives a life of luxury at these prices.
