This bike shop was a godsend. After leaving Gotham Bike Shop with their snooty unhelpful and uncaring attitude, it was refreshing to meet Mike. He saved our vacation by repairing my bike in a day (Gorham wanted me to leave it for two weeks). He did it for a lot less money - a real caring and helpful fellow. He deserves your business!
Walked in 15 mins before closing time with a question about a bike I was working on. I needed one part and asked to see if they might have a part that would work for the headset. I was then told that they don't deal in used parts and they would sell me a new part; OK no problem. After the owner filled out a support ticket he informed me he would need the headset I had and would order the new part eventually. I used to work for Mike for about 4 months. He is a wonderful guy with a big heart. Towards the end of my 4 months my paycheck was getting smaller and smaller. By the time I left I had a new job lined up. My friend went down there to get his bike fixed and according to my buddy Mike said "I fired the retard, he didn't know what the fu*k he was doing, He messed up every single bike and I had to redo them." Very poor customer service. I gave the specific details for a problem that they did not fix, which left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. I suggested a small gesture on their part to compensate for them not fixing the issue. They "respectfully declined". Instead, they charged me full price to fix the problem again! Don't get nickel and dimed. Go somewhere else to get your bike serviced.
