I called and spoke with KIM. She is the schedule TSAR apparently. I tried explaining to her that I have an urgent surgery requirement. I explained that I have Tricare Select PPO for retirees. I had read a review stating that he moves fast and was in the hospital over the weekend and need surgery soon, so this *seemed* optimal. She said that I need to get a referral from the VA. 1. I feel extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Quilici perform my double mastectomy 7 weeks ago. Not only is he an amazing surgeon but he is also extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
