Quick friendly service that was beyond compare.
Terrible service, difficult to understand and very willing to send me away. Asked a simple question to which the answer was uncalled for, it was a simple yes/no question.
I came in just before 3pm on a Wednesday and there was no wait time :D smog check was super fast (like 10-15 mins maybe? By the time I finished replying to messages on my phone they were done lol) ***Bring the notice the DMV sent for your registration renewal that requires a smog check!!!*** The older gentleman who handled the smog check was super nice, gave a clear quote, explained price breakdown for me unprompted too :0 fill out process was super easy too. Flexible and timely. Communicative. I went on Saturday evening, called before hand. Three cars in front of me and I was out of there in 30 min.
I've read that afternoons are better but arrived on a Thu around 9am and finished in about 15 min. There was one car before me in the stall finishing up. I have seen in the past where multiple cars are waiting and I usually return another time. I was prepared with a $30 discount coupon but the gentleman said I didn't need one. The full price is $79 plus $8 for certificate so out the door $58. Fyi he did mention the price would go up slightly in April and the discount would be reduced to $25.
