I chose this place based on positive reviews. The transformation from a motel to a boutique-style one-bedroom resort is impressive. The fact that it is pet-friendly is a great feature, as it can be challenging to find vacation accommodations that allow pets. The room was cute, though a bit small. The accommodations are adequate and the unit was clean with newer furnishings. However, a few things to know if you are staying here: 1) the walls are super thin. We could hear the people in the room next to us talking at 2am (wasn’t a raised voice, just normal conversation). In fact the walls are so thin that someone using the TV remote in the room next door was able to turn on our TV in the middle of the night. 2) The adjacent Shaka pool bar is fun, and we enjoyed it the first day, but then they had an event here that we d... read more
Stood there for a weekend and it was clean, cute and quiet . Only issue we had were some ants in the bathroom. But other than that it was great.
