Their fees are outrageous. Click on a place that is 199.00 per night and it ends up with a total cost of over $1000 for 3 nights. Worse than airbnb.

Not for the summertime. 25444 Marion Ridge Dr, Idyllwild My family and I stayed there for three hours, and were furious about the conditions there. First of all, there was a note saying we should open up the windows since the ac does not work. In the 90° weather, we were sweating inside of the house and could not understand how they listed this house in this type of weather. Went up for a quiet week of writing and enjoyed considerable amenities: 2 logs for a fire, a hot! jacuzzi, steam room (!!), free wifi, a balcony to commune with the trees, sky, and stars, and a kitchen! A really short walk into town for additional needs (e.g., wood starter, food, more wood given my long stay) at local businesses. Best, the price was exceptionally reasonable. It's not entirely isolated; you share proximity with other (cute) cabin dwellers, and likewise feel in community. Go! Enjoy!
