I recently had the pleasure of visiting UT Health East Texas Urgent Care for an urgent health matter for my daughter and I cannot recommend Victoria Obianwu NP enough! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and calm, which is a huge plus. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who quickly checked us in. Sad to say, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Wait time was long, service was poor and seemed like some of the ladies there didn't take their job very serious.
Didn’t even get to go in to the building, says opens at 7am and at 7:05 I knocked on door. Lady signaled to me through the front check in window through the lobby that I had to wait cause it was raining! Well the reason I was there was because I was sick, why would you be so unprofessional!
I would call ahead and validate who the NP on duty is. They have a rotation system and we’ve had a great experience with everyone except NP Victoria Obianwu. Two experiences with her and literally the least caring NP there. I made a comment to the RN who was very nice and she told me I’m not the only one who complaints about her. If she’s on duty, take your business elsewhere!
Won’t go back. My daughter went first thing this morning and was told there was not a doctor there. She made an appointment for 2:30. She was there on time but finally left at 3:45 when the doctor still had not arrived. Apparently the doctor has another job. This is very bad business!!
