Around 8pm, 8/28. A young man and women were working. The young man was making my drink. He constantly was scratching his hair. And I saw them making out behind the counter/ divider. Completely unprofessional. And when I’m paying $7/8 for a drink, they need to tighten up.
Got the $0.99 daily special. They delivered the order in 2 minutes and got the order exactly right, and the drink itself was good!
Took advantage of their $0.99 daily special, when I came across this store while shopping at Eastridge Mall. Saw the large $0.99 banner and was really curious. Ordered electronically and it was very simple. The daily special was Jasmine green tea, and while it was not particularly amazing, for a dollar, it was an amazing deal. The young lady making the tea was by herself and was nice. World return to try something else.
Food was decent, nothing too special but still good enough. The drinks were pretty okay as well. What really stood out though was the staff. They were a solid 10/10. Super quick, attentive, and very clean. I noticed they washed their hands constantly after even small tasks before making drinks for customers, which I really appreciated. It made the place feel much more hygienic and professional.
This was my first time traveling to the United States and my second time trying this boba shop. I came with my aunt’s family, and honestly the food and drinks tasted better than some bigger brands I’ve tried before (just my personal opinion). The food was served hot and the wait time was reasonable. The employee was very attentive to customers.
