My father took my daughters Mustang for a routine oil change. They had it in the garage 5 minutes and came back saying that when they went to take the cap off the oil fill tube, it “snapped” and a big chunk of it broke off claiming that the plastic was hot and brittle and that was the problem. We had a couple of family members who work in the auto mechanic field look at it and both said no way did that just”snap” off.
