Beavertails seem to be a Canadian thing - since I'm an out of towner, I wanted to try. According to Google: a beavertail is "a Canadian pastry, specifically a flat, fried dough treat shaped like a beaver's tail, and is often topped with various sweet toppings like cinnamon sugar, chocolate, or fruit. Toujours un bon service et les queues de castor sont tellement bonnes! À chaque fois que je vais au Vieux-Port avec mon fils on s’y arrête, c’est une tradition.
Beavertails were on the "to try" list so stopped into this cute shop! Very nice customer service. A little wait time is acceptable for a nice, warm pastry. Tried the lemon (sunrise) -- very good!
