Got in and out w walk in. Women were nice and good at drawing blood
It's outrageous that Quest Diagnostics has the patient purchase the special urine cup to use to collect their urine sample. That is the responsibility of Quest for sanitary/sterile reasons. OSHA, NPSF, ISMP and the Medical Community should be aware of their practice.
I used to get my labs at your Yonkers neighbor, LabQuest. Your facilityis far more physically pleasant, the check-ibn at the termonal was fast and easy, and I was seen within a minute of sitting down. Both staff members with whom I interwacted were warm and welcoming. And Ufuome (sp?), the lab tech who drew my blood did so expertly, and was delightful and engaging. Hats off for a superior customer experience in, of all things, blood drawing!
My daughter and I had the worst experience this time in the lab. The person who took my daughter’s blood had no empathy. She tried once, and when the butterfly needle was in, she wasn’t getting any blood, and my daughter was in pain. I told her to try another spot, but her reply was that people need to let them do their job and that it has to be done, suggesting that I could go to the ER. I had my appointment today at 3:10 pm my doctor had made an appointment for me. I went there to get my blood work. As I entered I saw no one in the sitting area I heard staff talking at the back room, one of the staff who works there saw me and asked my name and appointment time.They couldn’t find my name. He asked me when I made the apt I told him my doctor made the appointment for me and I also showed him the appointment paper that u could print from the quest website. Had my name time and date.
