Upon arrival, the Phlebotomy Technician re-signed me in while wearing a green glove on her right hand. In the room, she prepared the kit, explained the procedure, then placed a glove on her left hand without removing the right one. She drew my blood while still wearing the same right-hand glove from outside the room, not following CDC guidelines.
My tech Elia, was wonderful. She put me at ease and is so skilled that I barely felt the needle. I appreciated that so much, as I have a needle phobia. Other techs had here haven't been good at all.. Please commend her( and pay her more😁) for her professionalism and her personable manner. She is an absolute asset to your company!
