Everything has become so impersonal and computerized. You walk into an empty room with a computer screen to check in and no people in sight. I got there at 1:20 PM for a preemployment Urine drug screen and when I tried to check in as a walk-in, the computer said they only do drug screens up until 1:30 PM. Lab tech came out the door to get the next person in line, there was only one other person in the room, and I asked her if it was too late for a drug screen and she said “Yup” and shut the door.
