I have been going to Quest in Scotts Valley for my bloodwork for many years. They have had some really good phlebotomists, but unfortunately the newest one, Heidi, needs to go back to school for more training. During my 1:15 min waiting (which I expected since I was a walk in) several things caught my attention. Heidi is an amazing phlebotomist! She knew exactly what she was doing, she has a skill and a talent beyond anyone who has taken my blood before. She knew I was a difficult one to draw blood on because of my previous experiences - - veins roll, valves shut down partway through the draw. But she was up to the task. It was almost as though she could intuit her way through the process. And it did not hurt! She deserves five gold stars and a raise, please!!!
