Experience was ok. Had WBC and urine orders marked STAT. Results mattered, High numbers meant back to being admitted for 72 hours of IV antibiotics, within normal or even high normal remain home with oral antibiotics. I verified that labs were not being sent to Tampa/Gainesville, means same day results. Here I am 72 hours later and nothing. Dr is sending me to the ER (New Years Day). Quest should have turned me (and others) away if they were so overwhelmed that could not do the simplest of labs in a timely manner.
I had an appointment at quest in Quakertown at 9:40am. I left at 10:40am. the place was over booked.
What a stupid people that works here and the whole God damn company is fraud. You can not talk to no one and when you find someone you ask questions they get pissed.
Waited on standby for 3 hours from 11:00 to 2:00. When they finally saw me, they said they stopped doing drug test at 1:30. "Sorry, you can come back tomorrow.". Uh, NO. I went to their competitor (LabCorp). LabCorp got me in in less than 10 min. and they got the test done in 15 min. Go to LabCorp. They know what they are doing.
Tried to make an appointment for my child. All available appointments were not available when I tried make them. Tried to do a walk in appointment and was met with a computer. The computer said no. Tried calling to get help and was met with an automated system. This is a horrible business model.
I recently visited the Oakland Park, FL location and just wanted to say — I have never felt more comforted getting my lab work done. The team was incredibly efficient and super friendly, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Special shoutout to Samantha — she was an absolute ray of sunshine and made the whole experience so much better. Thank you to the entire Oakland Park team for your professionalism and kindness!
I feel compelled to share what happened to my son and me at the Quest Diagnostics location we were referred to for his blood work, not once, but twice. This morning was absolutely heartbreaking. The technician attempting to draw his blood was not only incompetent, poking him multiple times without success, but also extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept yelling, “Other patients are waiting outside”, and repeatedly shouted at my son, saying “IF YOU MOVE, IT WILL TAKE FOREVER.” My son was not moving at all, he remained ... read more
I am trying to pay my bill but Quest insists on sending text message code to my home phone which does not accept text messages. And, I have been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a Quest representative. This is very poor customer service.
