I like the Quest Diagnostics facility at Fuller Court, Alexandria VA, and choose to drive a little further to go there rather than facilities closer to me. The technicians are always professional, and quite honestly, they are far more meticulous in adhering to best practices here than at other facilities, such having me verify my name is on each vial and communicating with me what they are doing. Super fast. Made an appointment yesterday for this morning. Checked in via text. I must’ve sat down for maybe 10 seconds in the waiting room before getting called. The phlebotomist was professional, personable, and efficient. I must’ve spent no more than 5 minutes from the time I parked to the time I drove away. SUPER efficient!!
We made an appointment for my son and when we arrived, we were taken back promptly. The technicians gave clear instructions to both my husband and son on how to sit and explained the process to him. They spoke kindly and encouragingly through the blood draw. When we left, he was feeling a little woozy. Two other employees that happened by in the hallway helped us get him to sit down, gave him water, and support when he got sick.
