I spent more than 50 minutes at the front desk before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I spent another 30 minutes before that trying to use their automated system to make an appt. I couldn't get an appt scheduled, and I couldn't get ahold of a human to help. Update: the nurse also refused to give tell me how much it would cost before completing the labwork. Horrible experience. Zero compassion or understanding of a special needs 6 yr old with medical trauma and brain damage. Second attempt at sedated draw. Received a lecture and shaming. Scheduled last appt of day to make less stressful. I was prepared to not be successful with draw, and try again with another sedative. I was not prepared to be humiliated by a phlebotomist. I work in the medical field and am horrified by this treatment.
I never thought I'd write a positive review for a blood draw but here we are. I scheduled an appointment for 12:40 on a randomThursday. (Yes I had to fast) No one in the lobby. I checked in at exactly 12:39. I don't remember the phlebotomist name but she was great! She got my tricky vein in the first go, grabbed 3 vials of blood, did the documentation stuff, gave me a bandaid and I walked out the door at 12:44.
