I was taken aback my how I was spoken to (shouted at) by technician MJ (the name she provided). People arrive for blood draws after fasting for 12 hours with slowed cognitive functioning, which she should be aware of. Her aggressive and disrespectful tone is extremely unprofessional. I have no doubt patients are rude or demanding at times, I was not. Regardless, MJ needs training and a corrective action plan to help her manage her emotions.
What other option is there? Even with an appointment, expect to wait 15 minutes.The technician didn't enter in half of the tests from the sheet my doctor ordered, so I either have to skip those tests again or get poked again and pay for another draw (have high deductible) But where else can I go? Nowhere in network.
I found the staff to range from being helpful, friendly and knowledgeable to the complete opposite and even adversarial. It really depends on who you talk to and get that day.
