At 2:30 pm, the empty lab lay silent—no tech in sight. After signing in as a drop-in, silence continued for ten minutes. Then a tech appeared. While preparing for the draw, the tech admonished the customer for not having an appointment. Handing them printed appointment instructions, the tech acted annoyed at having to work. Another drop-in customer arrived and was asked to go to another lab or wait an hour and a half. The lab was still void of customers.
