I visited Quest to DROP OFF my 24-hour urine sample (properly labelled and documented). The staff required me to make a "standby" appointment and wait until they could "fit me in," when all they needed to do was accept the container and say "Thank you." Had to wait about 45 mins. Very inefficient process and a waste of my time. While I waited, they treated another customer the same way. This is the first time I go this location and I waited so long. They didn’t have any patients at one point and they didn’t take me in. They kept waiting for appointments to show up and didn’t call me after 40 minutes. Quest in Simsbury are way better at this! The only reason I went to the one 54 west Avon rd it’s because it’s one minute from my house but this ladies only wants to take appointments. I asked the lady if they were going to take me in and she said “yes in between appointments” but they didn’t. Such a waste of ti... read more

I went to the Quest lab for an extensive list of bloodwork. Quest is on my Aetna Insurance plan. I was shown the charges on the phlebotomist computer monitor. The screen showed that I had a $100 co-pay. I paid the $100 copay. The tech and I said goodbye to each other. After I left the Quest on Dale rd in Avon CT and looked at my receipt, it showed that there was an odd discrepancy in the billing. I called quest labs main phone line.
