On my second visit to the lab the walk-in list is already 5 people in line when they opened. They don’t have enough staff for walk-in patients, even though there were no appointments available within a week. They should have one person who treats walk-in’s only and two for appointments since this is always the case and I walked out after 3 hours of waiting the other day. They are extremely poorly managed. They need competition.
Excellent, skillful staff, no waiting, efficient blood draw
It is not like they have choice. You need to know that you need a test weeks in advance to get an appointment. 2 times they cancelled my appointment the day of in the past. You should have made the attempt to direct cancelled patients to another location and put extra workers to help with the load.
App worked great. No check-in required. Tech was very competent and friendly. Could hardly have been better.
The people at this lab are really nice. However, it is very hard to draw my blood, so I always tell the technicians to use a butterfly needle. And for whatever reason, the technician that helped me did not use one and was not even certified to do so. But she didn’t share that information with me. I wish that once I had told her about my situation, she had referred me to a more experienced phlebotomist. After sticking me twice, she finally asked for her colleague’s help.
