Michele Duemmer has taken my blood work twice in the past few months at Quest in Indian Rock Airmont Office and she is simply amazing. I have bad veins and hard to even find a vein....rolling as well. She is patient, understanding, she used a hot pack to bring up the vein, she had me sling my arm, she had many tricks and success every single time with no discomfort. I was a bit wary of using Quest at Indian Rock Mall because of a lot of negative reviews. In the end it was a surprisingly positive experience! I scheduled an online appointment. The wait time upon arrival was short. I was taken in by Randy, she was kind, efficient, didn’t rush me. There was a minor issue with the script, she took care of it calmly. Got my vein on the first try! We chatted a bit, and I was out on my again quickly.

The actual blood draw was not painful, but the environment was terrible. Why does the overall atmosphere of a place where people are already scared and filled with anxiety have to be so dreary. Dingy walls and dingy carpet. No cheery art. The technician Did a great job doing the blood draw. But he used a bad swear word in the first sentence. My advice is to improve your overall reputation to be a place where you put people at ease and make them feel safe.

I had an unacceptable experience during a recent blood draw. The technician Brian was dismissive and rude from the start and appeared more focused on rushing the appointment than ensuring patient safety. When I became visibly lightheaded and stated I was about to faint, the situation was not handled appropriately. The procedure was not managed according to basic protocol for a vasovagal reaction.
