SAL was great this afternoon! I have been having pleasant times every time I come to the office every one is awesome! 🫶
Very unhygienic. The nurses go from touching the public door handle to touching the gauze that goes on your open skin after a draw without any sanitary steps in between. Pretty appalling and I'm not even in medicine. The nurses also don't wash their hands before putting on gloves, meaning those germs are going from patient to patient. She used an alcohol wipe on my skin with one hand, but used the other (dirty) hand to touch my vein after the swipe, which was 1) gross, and 2) totally unnecessary because my vein was already v... read more
Nelson was very skilled and helpful.
Unlike the lab technicians at Labcorp (Seal Beach) and the techs at Memorial Care Urgent Care (Bellflower Blvd.) with Quest, the phlebotomist was really nice and skilled. She treated me with respect and decency, unlike the other technicians, who dismissed my concerns and requests for a butterfly needle. My veins are small and always hard to find, and most people have to stick me several times, but at Quest, she was gentle and found my vein on the first try without any pain and didn't lecture or belittle me for asking for a b... read more
