Lots of aggressive signage everywhere tells me this place doesn't really have a professional touch when it comes to working with the public. After checking in at the kiosk in an empty room for a test that my doctor told me HAD to be a walk-in (i need my blood drawn immediately at the first onset of symptoms) the kiosk said there were NO appointments left. Scheduled an appointment for today via the Quest website Scheduling tool. Arrived for the appointment and the place was closed!! Receptionist at the office next door said multiple people had come for appointments only to find that the office was closed. How the hell does this happen with a large healthcare company such as Quest?? You are dealing with PATIENTS. Take your responsibility seriously.
I had my appointment for blood test and as soon the time was , the employee call me got my information; took my blood and it is done . Less than 5 minutes
1) Don't believe them when they say you don't need an appointment to drop off a specimen. Walk-ins are taken after everyone who has an appointment, so you will have to wait. 2) Don't expect to be greeted by a live person. You must sign in using a kiosk and there is no one to help if you run into a problem. If you knock on the door (and you'll have to knock more than once), you will be greeted by a grumpy technician who will just direct you to the kiosk!
Very pleasant and efficient. I did not feel the needle stick. He was very skilled and quick. I was done almost a few seconds after sitting down.
