If you schedule at the University location, be prepared to wait over an hour past your appointment time. They are generally nice, but rarely have to stick me just once which does not help the needle anxiety! The lady drawing my blood was super professional and nice. Easy check in and hardly any wait time.
Usually have a great experience with this lab. Not this particular day. The phlebotomist hit a nerve when she drew my blood; it sent a shock to my wrist. I told her it was hurting more than normal. She said nothing; did nothing. I didn't know what to do but sit & suffer. Eight days later, it still hurts near my wrist. I have to open a lot of bottles for my career, so this makes my job hard to do. She had a cold, indifferent personality....barely said anything to me. Y’all could seriously do better on your manners and having walk ins go before scheduled appointments. I’ve been here for going on two hours
Really bad experience. My doctor at UAMS had the request faxed over by her nurse. I went on Friday, Oct. 3 with a pre-scheduled appointment. The renal nurse from upstairs offered to help the busy phlebotomist, but she couldn't find the orders in the system and I had to leave with no blood draw. Then I called the Quest call center and the lady in the call center said she could see the orders! I went back yesterday, Oct. 6, again with a scheduled appointment.
