I was sent to this location as it was the closest to where I live. Unfortunately, they did not have the proper equipment to complete my test. It would have been nice to receive a phone call before I drove 30 minutes and became anxious due to the blood draw. I mentioned that to the tech and stated that they should be checking that they have everything and the proper equipment they need before a person walks in their doors. The phlebotomist was great! But the exam room was freezing cold. I had to leave my coat on until the blood draw, and my hands were very cold after just 10 minutes there. Safeway/Quest needs to fix the heat/ac situation here both for patient and employee comfort. I don’t know how the phlebotomist works all day in such a cold environment.
I was nervous to go based off the reviews, but my experience was great. I am a needle weenie and the phlebotomist put me at ease and made the experience painless. She did an absolutely wonderful job. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shout out.
