I came in as a walk in at opening (nursing, can't know when I'll be able to keep an overnight fast so appointments aren't going to work for me right now) thinking I could still get my blood drawn and eat relatively quickly. The staff was so slow, I left after over half an hour because they hadn't even gotten through 2 patients yet and appointments started bumping me down the queue. Can we get rid of Quest and go back to UH? I always had reasonable wait times back when UH ran their own labs.
I’m so disappointed with quest diagnostics. I recently had a visit on Sep 25th and wasn’t happy. One of my arms is difficult to draw blood from and the other is ok. Over the last 4 years I’ve gotten blood drawn practically ever couple weeks do to an illness. Do to that my veins on my left arm is so sensitive do to scar tissue so on sep 25th I requested a butterfly needle and and was told their short on butterfly needles and she can’t do that. I had a really good experience at this location. I was in and out. Dominique the tech was very pleasurable, He had a great attitude and he made getting blood from me easy.
I'm a bleeder usually (but not this time). It would be nice to have self-adhesive wrap so my punctures don't bleed everywhere especially since my blood gets drawn every 3 months.
