Bad walk in experience. I used the kiosk and it said there was one person ahead of me and should be about a 60 minute wait. After waiting 2 hours I asked the to confirm if I was on the waiting list and she replied “I don’t know we are working on scheduled appointments first and I’ll check”. The staff member never let me know as she came out two separate times to call the names of other patients. I didn’t want to ask twice so I left. The Northborough, MA Quest is the only one I will go to. They are so welcoming and treat me professionally and with care.
Giselle at site UW1 is wonderful. I’m a very difficult blood draw, and I’m usually anxious about lab work. She took her time, was gentle and confident, and got it on the first stick. I moved here recently and was worried about finding a good phlebotomist—now I feel relieved and grateful. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. I hope Quest knows what a great employee she is!
Professional staff and excellent blood draw experience — quick, gentle, and very efficient. However, the billing is a serious issue. The charges are extremely high and exceed reasonable expectations, even for routine lab work as part of an annual exam. Billing transparency and pricing need major improvement.
I had an appointment at 4:20 and cancelled not knowing if I’d be back in the area in time. On the same day as my appointment I realized I’d get there within 25 minutes of closing, 15 min late to my appointment, so I drove all the way there to find they aren’t accepting walk ins. When you call, you cannot speak to anyone to verify if they can take you. Walk ins should be accepted until closing time or not at all. Quest should change the hours if not going to accept walk ins.
