If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a 2:30 PM appointment on July 22 at the Quest Diagnostics in Santa Monica (15th Place), just to give blood for a test. What should’ve been a quick and simple process turned into a painful and frustrating ordeal. I’m a Black man, and I don’t know if it’s lack of training or experience, but the phlebotomists here stuck me four times—twice in each arm—before finally getting it right. The new staff at this location are great, I got to work with both of them as I am a hard stick, both of them were great, helping and teaching each other, and very professional and kind. They demonstrated a high level of care and efficiency, and the office seemed to be functioning very efficiently and working well together. Much improved from a visit a while back which was challenging but to be fair it was the day the computer systems were shut down hampering their ability to do their work, I think the two people in the offic... read more
