I had a deeply distressing experience at Quest Diagnostics that I feel compelled to share, especially for parents considering this location for pediatric blood work. We brought our 9-month-old baby in for a routine blood draw. What followed felt nothing short of torture. Two staff members attempted to draw blood — they held her down forcefully, tried both arms, and made multiple failed attempts while our baby screamed in pain and fear. I took my 9-month-old baby to Quest Diagnostics for a blood test, and unfortunately, it was a deeply upsetting experience. Despite having an appointment, we were not seen until 40 minutes later. Once inside, the staff attempted to draw blood from both of my baby’s arms and struggled for 15 minutes, causing her significant distress and leaving her with bruised arms. Overall, the services are great. My only complaint is the office hours being M-F, 7 am - 3:30 pm with NO evening or weekend hours. This is extremely unfriendly and inconvenient for patients who work full time.
