Only wish there was a bathroom more available. Otherwise, for someone like me with an extreme blood-draw phobia, this visit was the best ive ever had. The person was actually experienced and able to make it work without harming me trying to find where the needle goes (ive had bad experiences elsewhere) We now know more about our health and the doctor took my teenager seriously for the first time ever! Thank you for giving us the proof we needed and ability to order on our own without an MD.
Took my wife on Friday. She did not have orders in hand and they said they did not have orders from doctor. Their answering voicemail said if that happened THEY would mawould call and get orders. Didn't happen. Came back next day with what they were supposed to do. Again they didnt draw blood. Lady passed blame on staff on prior day. Wife has to have these labs for kidney creatine levels. Again Lady didn't seem to want to help. Assumed nobody was there at KU. Going to let KU know how this went as this lab is putting my wife'... read more
The two phlebotomists helping me were OUTSTANDINGLY caring and compassionate. Very kind.
I was not happy with the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. I was stabbed with the needle with no notice and it was much more aggressive than I encountered in the past. You need to teach your people some empathy and compassion. I understand that it may be a mundane job but that doesn’t mean you can put it out on customers. Healthcare has gone to hell everywhere. I’ll go to my provider in the future.
