I've always preferred Quest over Labcorp, but my doctor's office send my lab orders to Lapcorp. Arrived at Labcorps to find that they could not draw my blood because my doctor's office (which was not open yet) had spelled my name incorrectly by one letter. Fortunately, I was able to walk down the hall to Quest and they were able to do my testing since I had a paper copy of the order. So grateful to Belinda who went above and beyond to help me get my testing done, all with a smile on her face at 7 in the morning!
Belinda drew my labs. She was super awesome. Kind, informative and so gentle. So glad I picked Quest for this lab work!
Every time I go in for a blood draw I am met with a new person who has no confidence. One young lady went it to my arm and I looked away and when I looked again she moved the needle, still in my arm, 90 degrees so she could draw from the side of the vein. She said ''don't worry, I'll get it''. I said ''don't ever do that again'' quietly so as not to embarrass her if in front of the other girls. I had a very large hematoma for the next week. Scheduled an appointment but had a personal schedule change so I came in a day early as a walk in at 9:30am. The woman explained to me that they couldn’t take me until the afternoon because it would mess up their corporate schedule timing system. There was no one else waiting at the time, sounded like it was purely a system issue. I cancelled my appointment and will be using a different labs service for what I need done.
