I recently visited the Oakland Park, FL location and just wanted to say — I have never felt more comforted getting my lab work done. The team was incredibly efficient and super friendly, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Special shoutout to Samantha — she was an absolute ray of sunshine and made the whole experience so much better. Thank you to the entire Oakland Park team for your professionalism and kindness!
I feel compelled to share what happened to my son and me at the Quest Diagnostics location we were referred to for his blood work, not once, but twice. This morning was absolutely heartbreaking. The technician attempting to draw his blood was not only incompetent, poking him multiple times without success, but also extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept yelling, “Other patients are waiting outside”, and repeatedly shouted at my son, saying “IF YOU MOVE, IT WILL TAKE FOREVER.” My son was not moving at all, he remained ... read more
I am trying to pay my bill but Quest insists on sending text message code to my home phone which does not accept text messages. And, I have been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a Quest representative. This is very poor customer service.

Efficiency at the Cost of Humanity This facility is the definition of efficiency at the cost of humanity. If you are technologically impaired, need help checking in, or have questions of any type, you're out of luck. There is literally no one there to help you. The waiting area consists of a dozen or so chairs and two check-in tablets. By their "I don't care" attitude, it's plainly obvious to see that the phlebotomists working there are overworked, understaffed, and ignored by whoever runs the place. I have been to this location twice to a drug test and have not got it done yet!!! first time I got there before 4pm only to find out they stop "taking appointments" at 3pm a couple days later I get there about 2 :30pm and sign in, Lady comes out at 2:58pm and says if you are a walk-in waiting for drug test you will not be seen today!?@?@!? WHY does their system let you check in, only to tell you 20 minutes later they can't see you!!!!! You have wasted 20+ minutes of my time waiting!!!!!
January 22, 2025, I had a great experience today for Blood work DONNA was the best for my nerves over an important Blood Work for my Cardiologist. She has exceptional people skills as well as being kind and knowledgeable about every question I had. She had to do paperwork and process my patient and insurance information.. Her expertise at drawing blood was easy and painless too! I am having trouble with insurance and she took the time to write down information and websites for help with my bill and Lab Work. I would not recommend this place to even my enemy. It's not very hard to help people and be kind. They seem to go out of their way to do the opposite. The gentleman who takes blood at this location should be removed from healthcare and will be reported to the FL Department of Health. Go anywhere else in the area for a better experience.
I’ve just moved to Largo, FL and I was in need of lab work. Having used Quest in MA I thought it would be my best option to get it on 2nd Ave SW near my home. My appointment was scheduled the day prior, at 10:50 AM. I got a call later in the afternoon, the day I scheduled, from my husband’s doctor indicating they needed him to have a cardiac test which would have interfered with my blood work appointment at 10:50.
